(This is part 6 of a 6-part series on brands I scoped during Pitti 106. Check all of them out here.)
I’ll admit I sometimes feel guilty for the bi-annual trips to Italy I take solo without my wife or kids. Yes, we take trips as a family, and once the boys are older I’m sure I’ll make one of my Pitti trips something my wife can join in on. In the meantime however, I do like to bring home gifts.
This time, I stopped in at the famous Florentine shop Pineider. Known for leather goods and stationery, Pineider is one of those storied institutions whose reputation precedes it. My wife is a dedicated bullet-journaler, and so I figured a beautiful Italian leather notebook (monogrammed with her initials) would be a luxurious-yet-useful treat.
Besides stationery, they had beautiful leather folios, computer cases and bags. As a shop to stop in at on your next trip to Italy, I recommend it. You can also shop their collection online.
