The short-lived but cult favorite brand Eidos, which has been dead since 2017 (when its creative director Antonio Ciongoli left, though it didn’t technically cease operations until 2020), lives on—for a short time not just in our hearts, but now in a stack of 600 new-old-stock shirts just dropped for sale at Sartoria di Lusso.
Sartoria di Lusso is an outlet/overstock seller in Naples that I was buying Eidos samples from even back when Antonio was still active as Eidos’ CD. Eventually all the leftover Ciongoli-era stuff was long gone, and they were doing their best to sell the turds that were the Simon Spurr-designed Eidos.

But somehow, Ciongoli Eidos returned. And there are 600 Eidos shirts on sale at Sartoria di Lusso now. It includes polos in the famous Lupo style (the one-piece collar reminiscent of famous Loro Piana shirts of the mid-century), the long-placket Camicia polo (which was my personal favorite) and even Marcus button-up dress and sport shirts (my all-time favorite button-up shirts in history).
There are also a handful of Ciongoli-era tailoring available in the Tenero and Tipo cuts. I’m told more tailoring is coming in the future, but I’m not sure when.
Buy directly from their website, or if you prefer, buy on eBay (the eBay link gets me a sales commission).
