Spier & Mackay just dropped, for preorder (meaning they aren’t ready to ship yet), two summer suits in excellent fabrics, both from renowned mill Hardy Minnis. Use this link to get 20% off your first order from Spier & Mackay.
First is a tobacco linen suit—something every menswear dude has wanted since Derek Guy at Die, Workwear! wrote that post about it 6 years ago. In their Neapolitan cut with higher-rise, single reverse pleat trousers, it’s a great expression for this fabric.
The second is a light gray fresco suit—much more business-friendly but drool worthy nonetheless. Fresco is great because it’s wool, so it holds up well over time, but it’s a high-twist yarn in an open weave, so it breathes really well (maybe wearing even cooler than linen).
They’ll be dropping more over the coming days and weeks, but these two are worth preordering now—because the hunger for these from the Spier and Mackay fan club is great, and your size might be sold out very quickly.
They are also selling odd trousers, in the same higher-rise, single-pleat-with-side-tabs configuration in both fabrics: Fresco and Linen.
