Just noticed there is some substantial discounts on Ring Jacket over at Nordstrom as part of their semi-annual sale.
The jacket model isn’t listed but I’m guessing it’s the TAJ model, which is a hybrid fit somewhere between the old 254 Japanese fit and the 254 American fit (as I wrote last year, the 254 American fit true to size, the Japanese fit one or possibly two sizes small). I tried on the TAJ recently and decided it was safe to buy my normal size. It was still a bit snug in the armholes so if you’re sensitive to that, one size up might be better (with alterations for the rest if needed). Nice thing is, Nordstrom has a phenomenal return policy if necessary.
Get it while the getting’s good (if it’s available in your size).
