Last January I wrote a review of a denim shirt sent to me by Besnard in The Hague. It was made of Japanese denim, and featured a generous collar roll, wide placket and other hallmarks of a high-quality shirt.
That shirt, as well as the mid-wash denim and chambray variations, are now being offered on deep discount through an archive sale Victor Besnard is running. For those outside the EU, $73 for these shirts is well worth the cost.
I’m not at all familiar with this brand but they look nice. How do they compare with Proper Cloth’s denim shirts? I got a garment washed one a year ago, and it’s very nice – but twice the price.
