Friday during Pitti is always slow, with vendors being required to hang around til 4pm, but many of them packing up a little earlier than that (because they have to have vacated everything by that evening). Attendance from visitors, buyers and chuckalucks like me is also significantly reduced, with many leaving that morning either for home or to head up to Milan for fashion week there.
Me? I was in Florence til Sunday, and was going to get that last press lunch! But I also used the slower foot traffic to stop by a few booths to help alleviate any boredom the exhibitors were feeling. Later that evening I met up with Nathan who runs Natalino, for a drink at Locale (quite an impressive bar).
So here are the few photos I snapped Friday, plus a few images I shot on Saturday when I wandered the streets of Florence, and visited Palazzo Pitti.
