Spier & Mackay is running 20% a selection of suits right now, and there are several that I think are straight fire. Here are my picks from the sale:

Peak lapel suits are definitely a statement, but as someone who doesn’t wear suits often, it makes sense that in the instances where a suit is the right choice, it’s a little extra.
Also comes in Air Force blue. I love light colored suits for summer, and fresco wool is the right choice for a suit that gives the summer color feel while staying crisp and looking smart.
Also comes in dark gray. If you don’t have a great, go-to suit in either navy or dark gray, this is an outstanding option. Full-canvas is an important quality distinction because it will drape better and more smoothly than an equivalent-weight half-canvas (where the bottom half of the front panels of the jacket are fused).
This is a no-brainer. Fox Bros. apparently invented flannel. If you want the real deal, here it is. Also comes in navy, but this warm gray is just about perfect.
I have a Prince of Wales gray flannel suit from Spier & Mackay and love it. This one is a warmer color tone, which on cold winter days feels right at home.
If you’re a little further along in your menswear journey, a donegal suit is a cool twist on the normal. Also comes in brown. Donegal has the interesting flecks, its history as a cloth from Ireland that was woven for warmth makes it a fun, discerning choice for someone who doesn’t want to look super polished.
I’m a midnight navy tuxedo advocate. My tuxedo is a shawl lapel, but peak lapel is unbeatable. If you want one, this is a great choice—especially as it has full-canvas construction.
