Years ago, The Armoury launched a YouTube channel, initially posting professionally polished videos describing the various models of jacket they sell. I loved those videos but after that initial spate, they hadn’t posted in years.
But then, when their stores were closed by necessity due to COVID19, Mark Cho started posting videos to his Instagram, taken just with a smart phone and speaking off the cuff. They’re great. They now post them to their YouTube channel.
Since he does more than just Armoury-specific stuff—like gear reviews of photo equipment and other random stuff—also scope out Mark’s IGTV directly to see everything he records on the day he posts.
I particularly like his outfit recommendations (called “how to style it”), and also appreciate his walk-through of their Drop93 consignment business (which is only viewable on his Instagram, which sort of makes sense; so, just another reason to check Mark’s IG).
