Natalino is always such a great vibe. Nathan, its founder, has infused the brand with a highly appealing sense of comfort, ease and elegance that perfectly aligns with my values in how to dress. Tailoring that’s flattering yet soft, and not too fussy.
He’s been expanding outside the traditional tailored realm a bit this season with fatigue pants—which are having a moment lately in the broader world of style and fashion. They’re just the kind of alternative to a pair of jeans that can dress down your tailored tweed jacket that I think is so useful. (He introduced high-rise denim last season).
Go check out the entire lookbook. It’s simple, with a strong emphasis on knitwear-worn-under-tailoring; the kind of lookbook that’s inspirational for how to create an easy throw-it-on-every-day uniform that will always look great.
I like what Natalino is doing in that they provide a really high end looking product at a hard to beat price. However, can see where they do find opportunities to reduce costs. They don’t finish jacket sleeves and their sleeves looks a bit untraditional in that it the one side doesn’t overlap the other giving the impression of a working cuff. Or maybe that’s how my tailor did it. Also, they probably don’t use Bemberg lining.
