A guy named Peter whom I met in New York City at the 18 East launch party in October last year has formed a Kickstarter project to launch a “perfect Oxford shirt” company. Seeing as we are currently living in one of the best times in recent history for Oxford shirt lovers, I’d normally probably not give it another look. But knowing that Peter develops textiles for a Very Large Fashion Company (rhymes with Dalph Moren), I bet this will be pretty cool. His description checks all the boxes (i.e. unlined, rolling collar) and his pedigree in textiles means I’m inclined to believe the fabric will be great.
He’s already met his initial backing goal of $10,000 (within 24 hours no less), but it’s open until Aug. 25 if you want to get in on it in the first wave.
