Pitti Uomo 97 Daily Fits

I definitely over-packed for Pitti. But only because I wanted to have a little flexibility each day in case weather conditions changed, or I found the physical aspect of doing photography meant going full coat-and-tie everyday would be impractical.

Day 1

On day 1, I went more comfortable so I could get a feel for the photography I’d be doing and figure out what the physical demands would be. It was overcast and cold that day; I wore my navy chunky turtleneck from 18 East with my Sid Mashburn natural denim, suede chukkas, and the navy Polo coat from Ralph Lauren. It was comfortable, warm and (if I do say) really cool-looking.

Day 2

On day 2, I went full coat and tie. I discovered shooting wouldn’t be inhibited in any major way if I dressed up, so I went for it. However, it was sunny this day and warm, so my topcoat proved unnecessary and annoying to carry around. I also wore a blue Drake’s lightweight scarf.

Day 4
