Hilariously called a “car coat” on Ralph Lauren’s own website, this ulster coat has big, amazing lapels (like a peacoat or bridge coat), hits around the knee or just above, a half-belt back and envelope pockets at the hips. The fabric is 74% wool 26% polyamide, it’s very soft, and it’s warm. $800 MSRP.
