This season, Ralph has introduced an actual polo-style coat (in navy, though, not legit camel hair), with the correct details: peak lapels, mainly. And it has a flapped breast pocket which is a thing (though not a requirement for an honest polo coat).
They’re calling it The Polo Coat. It looks great. I think I prefer the standing bridge coat / peacoat collar on mine, but this definitely gives you that sweet polo coat vibe. I should note, Spier & Mackay has offered polo-style coats in basic fabrics like navy every fall/winter season for the last several years for like $400. But if the House of Ralph gives you the warm tinglies, here’s your opportunity.
