The Pitti Parties (More Unpublished Photos From Pitti 97)

Many of the photos I shot at Pitti 97—the last Pitti to be held before the pandemic, in January 2020—weren’t ever published by Styleforum on whose behalf I shot them, to my knowledge. This time I’m publishing photos from the parties and little gatherings I attended while in Florence. One evening, we spoke with Kenji Kaga of Tie Your Tie Florence, who was set up in a little hotel board room nextdoor to Salvatore Ambrosi. Another night, there was a party thrown by the magazine Plaza Uomo. Another night, WM Brown magazine threw a party at Harry’s Bar, immediately after which we enjoyed a private dinner hosted by Fok, who owns Styleforum, with several affiliate members in attendance at Pitti (such as the guys from The Armoury, the Carmina family, Rikky from Spier & Mackay, and others).

I propose a toast to enjoying another packed bar dressed up very, very soon.
